Seventy-one percent of employees experience higher than moderate stress in the workplace — a stress score of 7 or higher on a 0-10 scale — according to a new survey.
Deadlines are the most common contributing factor; being responsible for others’ lives is the second most common cause of being stressed at work, followed by competitiveness and physical demands.
Nearly 59 percent of respondents said they’d leave their profession if they could, due to the anxiety they’d experienced.
