A focus on agility, combined with stability, intergenerational skill sharing and employees’ personal brands are three of the global trends companies can expect to see in 2017, according to a new report from Sodexo.
Collaborative workspaces are expected to involve shared physical space and resources, as well as encouraged interactions to adopt problem-solving approaches.
Due to considerable worker relocation in both emerging and developed economies, organizations may also see new opportunities for inclusive leadership by evaluating skill needs, the benefits a location offers, availability and successful cultural integration efforts.
The report also suggested companies will take more interest in personal branding to try to understand both the risks and potential power that could be leveraged from employee brands to benefit the organization.
