Although investing in cloud technology and improved data and analytics programs are the most common HR initiatives, just 24 percent of users in 52 countries say cloud-based systems are delivering greater value, according to a recent report.
Cloud-based technology offers several advantages, including self-service options for managers and employees.
Most organizations (69 percent), according to the report from audit, tax and advisory firm network KPMG, anticipated their cloud-based HR management system would provide better functionality. Thirty-five percent expected it would result in lower ongoing costs.
KPMG’s survey findings indicate, however, that implementation alone won’t successfully transform HR operations. A thorough change management system needs to also be present.
