Mobile-first companies that have made portable technology use a priority have seen productivity, engagement and employee loyalty rise, according to a new global study from the Economist Intelligence Unit, sponsored by networking solutions provider Aruba.
Forty-nine percent of respondents said the ability to work anytime, anywhere had the biggest impact on productivity. Remote flexibility can also increase employee engagement at mobile-first companies. Thirty-eight percent of respondents said the ability to work remotely had the greatest influence on how satisfied they were with their employer.
