More than half (52 percent) of hiring managers feel they can’t predict the long-term success of new hires — and 71 percent say HR needs to improve its recruiting process to increase hiring quality.
Sixty-one percent of the hiring managers that participated in a recent study from technology provider Visier said that it’s difficult to measure the long-term impact of the overall recruiting process. Seventy percent suggested making recruiting programs more data-driven or fact-based would help improve their impact.
Time-to-hire estimates can also be unclear. Sixty-six percent agreed it was difficult to get an accurate assessment of how long it would take to secure a new hire.
